Version History

Arcfeed API versions are designed for stability and backward compatibility. Each version maintains support for its documented features for at least 12 months, with deprecation notices provided at least 3 months in advance.

Current Version

v1.0 is the current stable version. All new features are released under this version.

Deprecated Versions

There are currently no deprecated API versions.

Deprecation Policy

Deprecation Timeline

1. 3 Months Prior

   Deprecation notice is added to the version page and API documentation.

2. 2 Months Prior

   Feature flags are removed, and all deprecated endpoints return 410 Gone errors.

3. 1 Month Prior

   Version is removed from active navigation and search indexes.

4. Removal

   Version is completely removed from the codebase and documentation.
